Christine Skelton, Director

Christine was raised in Greenville, SC and attended Christ Church as a young child with her family. She attended Greenville High school and graduated in 1991. Following high school, Christine went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Psychology minor from Presbyterian College in 1995. 

Upon Christine’s college graduation, she began her teaching career in DeKalb County, GA. Here she taught 4K and first grade for seven years in a very diverse multicultural and socioeconomically challenging school in inner city Atlanta. She was awarded the honor of Teacher of the Year for the school where she taught, Indian Creek Elementary School, and then went on to be awarded the DeKalb County Systemwide Teacher of the Year award.

During her time teaching in Atlanta, Christine went on to earn her Masters of Education Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University in 2002.

Christine is married to Brad and has two children, Kate and Thomas, as well as two step-children, Emma and Sloan. Christine began working as the Director of Christ Church Episcopal Preschool in April 2016. 

JoAnn Albertson, Preschool Operations Coordinator

Mrs. Albertson has been working at CCEP for 15 years. She has 18 years of experience teaching young children. She received her Associate's degree in Childhood Development in 2006. She has a daughter named Kipp who attends CCEP.

Stephanie Martin, Preschool Financial Coordinator

Stephanie Martin joined CCEP as the Preschool Financial Coordinator in the summer of 2016. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Wofford College, with an emphasis in computer science.  Stephanie’s professional experience includes operations management, project management, corporate training & facilitation and teaching mathematics. As an active member of Christ Church and as a CCEP parent, Stephanie feels honored to serve the church and the preschool families through her work at CCEP.

Kathy George, Administrative Assistant

Kathy George began teaching at CCEP since summer 2010, but taught grades 1 through 4 for 21 years. She has her Masters in Elementary Education and Reading from Ball State University.



Leidy Roman, Betty Holland, Linda Holland (not pictured)

Ms. Betty has worked at Christ Church for 19 years. She and her late husband, Jim, were a military family, living in many areas across the country before moving back homein 1971. She has two children and three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her seventh great-grandchild was born in July of this year and her name is Autumn Leigh.

Ms. Linda is her daughter-in-law. Ms. Linda has been caring for the children at Christ Church for 16 years. She is married, has one daughter and six grandchildren. She and her husband are raising two of their grandsons. She feels fortunate that God has allowed them this special privilege!

Mrs. Leidy Roman assists with both groups of infants on an as needed basis.



Kate Koniditsiotis, Karen Bannister

Mrs. Koniditsiotis has been at CCEP for ten years. She has a BA in Vocal Performance from Erskine College. In her free time, Kate and her husband, Stathis, enjoy teaching people about their Greek heritage.

Mrs. Bannister began working at CCEP in June of 2012. She has been married for 38 years to her soulmate, Ronnie. They have 3 children and 1 grandchild, Everleigh. Karen and Ronnie owned a landscaping company for many years. In 2011, Karen decided to pursue her "dream job" - working with children. She felt fortunate to become an employee at CCEP. Karen's love for God, family and children fulfills her life each day.

Amanda Todd, Silene Avendano Oquendo

This is Ms. Todd's tenth year at CCEP teaching in the K2 class. She has 15 years of experience working with young children. She received an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her son is a former CCEP student and he is 10 years old.

Silene Avendano has now been at CCEP for two years. She is so excited to be here with us! Silene's favorite color is blue.  Her daughter, Natalia, is attending Greenville Charter School and is in the 9th grade. Silene completed a degree in Business and Administration and a degree in Advertising. She is from Columbia, South America and her first language is Spanish.






Abbey Poff, Linda Barbare

Mrs. Poff began working at CCEP in summer 2010. She graduated from Charleston Southern University with a BS in Social Science. She spent a year and a half teaching elementary school in Michigan before moving home to Greenville. She and her husband, Dan, have three boys Mac, Gus, and Deacon. This is Mrs. Poff’s 7th year teaching at CCEP.

Ms. Barbare joined the CCEP staff in 2006. She taught Young Toddlers for the first ten years and has been with K2 for a 2 years now. Ms. Barbare loves teaching through storytelling and music/ movement. She earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood while working at CCEP. One of her favorite things to do is to be Nana to her four grandchildren.




 Vanessa Zadel, Lori Hawkins

Mrs. Zadel has been on the staff at CCEP for four years. For the past three years, Mrs. Zadel has taught Spanish to K2 through K5 students. She is a graduate of USC with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Zadel and her husband, Chris, have two boys, ages 5 and 7. They are active parishioners of Christ Church.

Mrs. Hawkins began working at CCEP in 2015. This is her third year in K-3. Lori lives in Simpsonville with her husband Josh, two children Riley and Joseph Ethan, and cockapoo Lizzie. She is also Christian Education Director at The Church of the Redeemer in Greenville.  



Ann Eubank, Paige Jordan

Mrs. Eubank joined CCEP in 2007 as a substitute teacher and joined the permanent staff in 2008. She is a graduate of Hollins College and the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Eubank and her husband, Craig, have two children and are Christ Church parishioners.

Ms. Jordan has been teaching for sixteen years. She spent seven years teaching K5 in public school and is a lifelong parishioner at Christ Church.



Lindsay Ridgeway, Beth Hayes

Mrs. Ridgeway is in her tentth year at CCEP teaching K3. Her degree is in Elementary Education and Lindsay taught for eight years in Texas before coming to CCEP. She has lived in Greenville for ten years with her husband, Todd, four children and three dogs.

Mrs. Hayes began working at CCEP in the summer of 2016 and has loved it ever since! She and her husband of 5 years live in Piedmont and have 3 children together. On the weekends, Beth enjoys spending extra, quality time with her family and leading worship in her church on Sundays. Beth feels so blessed and thankful to work at CCEP. 



Lia Mesaric

Mrs. Mesaric is proud to be teaching at Christ Church Episcopal Preschool again. She taught both K4 and K5 here for six years. Through her teaching she encourages and inspires a love for the arts as well as fitness and wellness.  She loves to be active as she has three lively boys who she has to keep up with! Lia teaches both a Ballet and Art afterschool class for the Busy Bees program here at Christ Church. She earned a BA in Art with an emphasis in Art Education from the University of South Carolina as well as studied outdoor education at Brevard College.


Andrea Watt, Crista Hall

This is Mrs. Watt's 10th year at CCEP. Previously, she was the teaching assistant for K5 at St. Mary's Catholic School. Mrs. Watt has 17 years of experience working with children. She and her husband have two children.

Mrs. Hall has been working with children for 13 years. She earned her South Carolina Early Childhood credential in 2010. She and her husband, Larry, live in Greenville with their son, Jack.  She is currently working towards a degree in psychology.  She enjoys spending time with her family, painting and sharing her love for art with children. She feels incredibly blessed to be a part of CCEP!




Ginger Kinman, Jen Campbell 

Mrs. Kinman has 30 years of teaching experience, the last 18 of which have been at CCEP. She has a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Clemson University and a master's degree in early childhood education from the University of Georgia. Her daughter is 23 years old and her son is 19 years old and both are CCEP graduates. Mrs. Kinman is a Christ Church parishioner.

Miss Jen has two extremely supportive parents and a twin brother who she considers to be her best friend. She recently graduated from USC with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. This past year, Jen worked late stay and acted as a long term sub in one of the K4 classrooms at CCEP. She has really enjoyed working at CCEP and is looking forward to many more enjoyable moments in the future! In Jen's free time, she njoys spending time outdoors and reading. 



Laura Stewart, Deanna Cordell

Mrs. Stewart has a Bachelor of Arts from Clemson and a Master's in Elementary Education from Furman. She and her husband have two children and are Christ Church parishioners.

Mrs. Cordell has been at CCEP for 21 years. She has been working with children for 28 years. She has two grown children, and one grandson who attends CCES.

Spanish, Jessica Turner

Jessica Turner has a BA in Spanish from Southern Illinois University. She and her husband Michael have two children, Quinn, who is 8 and Ada, who is 6. When she isn't busy with their sports schedules (Quinn plays baseball and Ada is on a gymnastics team), she also volunteers for their school's PTA. In her free time, she enjoys sewing, reading, and the outdoors. She is also a devoted dog mom to two over-sized mutts, Samson and Garcia.
